Flying To India - April 18, 2018

Here we are at the Colombo Airport getting ready to fly to India. We are so lucky as missionaries to go and hear President Nelson and Elder Holland along with their wives. President Nelson is going on a world-wide tour and one of his stops is in Bangaluru, India which is our mission.

Made it on the plane happy, but ended up sick on this flight. Lucky to have this guy next to me when I decide to puke. 🤤

Here we are with other missionaries around India waiting for the bus to pick us up from the airport.

Trying to stay cool and eating some crackers. We are grateful for Elder Luke sharing 2 packages of cookies and 1 sack of treats. It was like feeding the 5,000. 😉

Bus finally arrived to take us to the church house in Bangaluru.

I am feeling much better after eating some crackers and having Ken keeping me cool by pouring water on my neck.

Gathering together for some training before dinner. President Mortensen shared the conference talk when President Nelson announced the India temple was going to be built.

Look at all those handsome missionaries. There are 159 missionaries serving in the Bangaluru Mission.

We had dinner then a short devotional. Each District in the Mission had five PowerPoint slides to share. They all did an amazing job. The gospel is sure growing here!

After the devotional the senior couples got to stay at the Lemmon Tree hotel. This was the few from on top where the swimming pool was.

We had to take the opportunity to swim for a few minutes before it closed. The water was a little cool but it sure did cool my feet off.

Before we left this morning we got to watch Zach open his mission call. He will be going to Farmington, New Mexico. He will leave July 25, 2018. Congratulations Zach!
