Saying Goodbye!

We are trying to see as many people as we can before we leave.
Each day gets a little harder.
Today we visited Angela (which we forgot to take pictures).
Here we are with Erondi.

We are here with her mother and friends.

We will always remember Erondi and her kind heart towards us.
We love you!

We stopped by Sunots home. This is where we held our Monday Night English Class. What a welcome we received. We are going to miss them. So lucky to know and love them.

Tonight we had dinner at the first place we stayed in Kandy. We have such fond memories of living here. We were so spoiled with the food and them taking care of us.

Here we are with Iroma. She and her husband run the Guest House.

This is Innocent who is the cook and cleaner.
She comes and cleans our apartment sometimes.
She is a great cook and is the one who taught me how to cook pumpkin soup.

The table is beautifully set.
We were treated with rice, chicken, salad, vegetables and dahl.
For dessert we had ice cream with jello and fruit.
Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Today we saw two accidents.
First accident was a guy on a bicycle who pulled right in front of us. Brother Shantha was able to veer to the right avoid hitting him but he hit the side of the three wheeler. He fell off his bike and luckily wasn't hurt. Elder Luke's leg was hit but he will probably end up with a bruise.
Second accident was a truck coming down the hill and crashed in the hill. Didn't look like he was hurt.
Crazy day!
We helped a family that had a flat tire on their three wheeler. Reminded me of the "Good Samaritan" story.
Heading home Brother Shantha was pulled over by the police. They were just doing a registration check.
No problem, Brother Shantha is all registered!
A GREAT DAY!
