Branch Thank You Party!

What a surprise party that was planned for us!

Started out with Kandiyan Dancers waiting for us as we walked to the church.

People were lined up to greet us.

We were given a special gift of leaves at the entrance of the church along with fire crackers going off. Pretty amazing!

Couldn't stop crying all the way into the building.

They spent many hours decorating the church for the party!

The party started out with the girls from our English class dancing.

Brother Shantha and Elder Devinuwara and Elder Weijitunga helped with the music.

Brother Jaysinghe sang a song.

Relief Society danced.

Elder Luke felt like he was at his own funeral but we are alive to see it!

After the entertainment we were given gifts.

We are so touched by the love and kindness we have been shown.

In August I challenged the Branch to read the Book of Mormon.
