Our Three Wheeler Adventures!

Today as we traveled to visit people we got to go on some mountain roads.
This is one way to avoid traffic and road blocks!

First stop was to visit Kumari and her little girl, Teshani.
We love to give balloons and bounce them in the air.
This really helps break the ice and they learn that we aren't too bad to be around.

Not we are singing, "Baby Shark."

Enjoyed being with these girls today!

New paint job on this three wheeler.

Visited with Moses. Everyone else was gone.
Played with the new puppy.

This is the hill we had to climb down to get to Moses' house and then climbed it back up to get to the three wheeler.

First forest fire we have seen in Sri Lanka.
You could really hear the fire crackling.
Also, there was a lot of ash in the air.

Hope it gets out because there are homes down here!

Impromptu Hindu temple.

Some of the mountain views today.
You can tell it has been very dry.

From on top you can really see some pretty sights.

Dirt road.

Wild flowers.

Brother Shantha called this a "sleeping  leaf."
Notice how the leaves are all opened. When he touches them they close up as if they are asleep.

Had to go to a fabric store today to get some material for a jacket to go with my new Saree. This young man was helping me. Ken actually came in with me and didn't have a panic attack! 😉

Last stop was to visit Raymond in the hospital. It was a good thing we went because he knew we were going to see him today.
Good thing Ken listened to his prompting.
Hope they figure out why he is so sick.
We have really visited too many people at this hospital.
Had a great day!
