Full Friday!

Now that we only have three weeks left of our mission we are trying to visit as many people as we can. We stopped at Sister Sushila's and met her good friend, Dissanayke. We sure love Sister Sushila and all that she does for the Branch. She is one of the most thoughtful people I know. She is always concerned for others.

These are some of her flowers from her yard along with her two dogs.

We also visited our friend in the hospital. He is doing much better and hopes to be out in the next couple of days.
Here they have visiting hours, 6-7 in the morning, 12-1 in the afternoon, and
5-6 in the evening. The patients have to have their families bring them food to eat. The hospitals don't supply the food or your bedding.
The pictures above are some of the things that are going on outside the hospital.

Next we visited Sister Shiranthi, Elder Abeythunga's mom. She has been very sick for the past year. It was so good to see her smiling and up.

She is staying with her sister as she recovers and gets stronger. Her niece has many talents. The ones above are flower pots she makes with scraps of clothes and cement. I was able to pick one and take home with me.

She also makes these wall hangings.

This is the pot I picked out.
Thank you! I can't wait to put flowers in it.

She also paints these clay pots.

Here I am playing with the kids!

We also visited with our Branch President, Kumara, and his wife, Padma.
They are the parents of triplets who were born almost a year ago.

They sure have their hands full!

Aren't they a cute family!
We have been so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
Each family we visit gets harder to say good bye!
Today was a GREAT HOT, HOT Day!
