Matthew 25:35, "For I was an hungred and ye gave me meat."
A person can experience spiritual hunger as well as physical hunger. As Jesus did, we can offer people both kinds of nourishment.
We have been nourished here in Sri Lanka both spiritually and physically. The family we are renting the apartment from made us dinner Monday night. Then tonight she brought us some hot flat bread that is made here in Sri Lanka. It is so good!😋
We are being spiritually fed by the Branch we are serving in. There are some of the most humble people I know. Everyday I feel Our Saviors love for me!
Today I was intrigued with all the different doors that we have. The first door is our security gate to our apartment. Ken is in front of our front door.
This is our kitchen window. I took the picture from the outside looking in.
All the windows have doors that latch. This view is actually from our living room which opens out to a deck.
These doors are in our bedroom. As you can see it opens out to a deck. We can sit out here and enjoy our view. From this deck is where I hang our clothes.
These windows are in our kitchen. Another beautiful view of our surroundings.
All the bedroom and bathroom doors look like this. They are all about 7 feet high.
This is our front door from inside. The door is about 8 feet in height. Everyone takes their shoes off before entering a home. Next to the door we have our shoe stand.
The bedrooms have no built in closets. This wardrobe closet is in our spare bedroom. Each door has a special has a special key to open the doors.
This is our wardrobe closet. Ours has a mirror on one of the doors.
This is our dresser along with a mirror. Also with drawers and doors for storage.
My top loading clothes washing machine door.
In our living room we also have an entertainment stand. The owners even gave us a tv that is all set up to go. As of yet we have not even turned it on. More doors!
Our gas oven door. Once we get settled in I will use them to bake some cookies. 🤗
This is our kitchen cupboard doors.
Doors to our refrigerator and freezer.
Under the sink kitchen counter doors.
Here are doors to our garbage cans. We have to separate our garbage. None can is for food scraps. The other is for plastic and cardboard. One not pictured is for the rest except glass that we also have to keep separate. We are still learning what days to take out the garbage.😲
