#LightTheWorld - Day 20

Luke 12:15, "A man's life consistent not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth."

Sometimes possessions distract us from appreciating the most important things in life. By eliminating these distractions, we can lead a more fulfilling life.

Some pictures outside our apartment. This picture is looking down on the garden below.

It has rained all day. We woke up to this mist and it stayed all day. A little chilly for the locals, but we loved it.

No wonder things can be so green here with all the rain. Sometimes you can see monkeys hanging around in these trees. The Elders told me to be very careful and not leave the windows open if I'm not in the room. The monkeys will come in the house and look for food. Sunday the Elders were getting ready for church. They had their front door open to cool the house off. One Elder was studying and the other Elder was taking a shower. The Elder studying heard something and looked up and saw a family of monkeys in the house taking their food. He yelled at his companion to come and help. Making a lot of noise he tried to shew them out but they didnt leave. He finally grabbed a broom and in the process slipped and made a big bang. That is what scared the monkeys away. 🙈🙉🙊
