Matthew 7:12, "All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them," These people are some of the kindest I know. If everyone lived the Golden Rule like them, the world would be a better place.
Today we were able to meet as missionaries with Elder Evans and Elder Funk. They taught us from the Missionary Handbook and Preach My Gospel. They talked about Sri Lanka and how the people are being prepared for the Gospel. How we will be able to see it grow, especially as the young missionaries teach here in their own language. We can really see the value of our two sets of missionaries. We are keeping them busy! Without their help we wouldn't be able to teach as many people. We can't wait to get another set of Elders.
We were given some good counsel and it was great to be nourished by the good word of the Lord through his servants. We appreciate these great leaders who take the time to visit us in Sr Lanka.
Our mission vision is to increase Faith in Jesus Christ and have Eternal Happy Families. We can accomplish this by; 1. Increasing our faith as we keep the commandments and follow our leaders, 2. Read the Book of Mormon, and 3. Follow the Proclamation of the Family.
Sure love working with these missionaries! We were missing Elder & Sister Lee. Elder Lee was having hernia surgery. As I am writing he is doing very well.🤗
