This bridge is just outside the Colombo Museum. We spent part of our day going through the museum with the Sister Missionaries.

Bodhisattva Sandals. (c. 9th century AD) Presumably, the two sandals were made for standing Bodhisattva of about three meters high, also made of bronze.
