Today was a day of visiting with lots of friends but also having a lot of good food. Started the day with King Coconut juice and pomegranates.
Next two lovely sisters, Diana and Dananjani, stopped by to see Elder and Sister Lathen. They used to live with the Lathens while they served in Sri Lanka.
Sister Basthiyan at their apartment. They fixed us and the Lathens a wonderful lunch. They made fried potatoes, rice, fruit salad and bitter root. For dessert we had ice cream and custard. It was a very tasty lunch.

Had a wonderful meal at President Kolitha's home. Sister Primali made chicken, potato salad, green salad, noodles and rolls. For dessert we had ice cream and brownies. It was great visiting with them and their daughter Somali. Kumar, our driver, is standing in this picture. He is the best driver in Sri Lanka. He tells us about the city, helps us on places we should go and is so happy all the time. If we ever have any questions or problems we can call him.
Apparently there was going to be a petro strike so people waited in gas lines for up to 2 hours to get gas. They had three lines, one for motorcycles and tuk tuks, the 2nd one for diesel trucks and the 3rd one for nice cars.
