Wacky Wednesday!

Time for a haircut!

Nice visit with Sister Shusila. She shared with us crackers and bread fruit. Bread fruit is used like a vegetable. She fried the bread fruit for us today.
The red juice she made with limes and some type of flower to make it red. Very tasty treats today. Her dogs even liked the crackers!

This is what bread fruit looks like before it's cut and cooked.
Steaming is a great way to cook breadfruit to eat alone or in dishes. Do not overcook or breadfruit will become mushy and waterlogged! Breadfruit can be pan- or deep-fried, much like potato. If peeled fruit is desired, blanching raw fruit before peeling helps loosen the skin from flesh.

This little piggy lives by our apartment. We are seeing him more often now. He still scares me and I stay far away from him.

After English class we started walking home. It began to rain just a little, no problem! Then it started to pour, problem! Luckily a three wheeler saw us and gave us a ride to our apartment. I should say we paid him to take us to our apartment. It was nice not to get soaked.
It Was A Good Day!
