Kandy Branch Has Talent!


This afternoon we had a talent show.


Brother Shantha and Elder Karunarathne welcomed everyone and introduced each talent.


Brother Shantha made this radio, microphone, also plays flash drives . It is stored in an ice cream container.

She is 2 years old and sang "Twinkle twinkle little star" in English (which isn't her first language).

Pink flowers are made out of paper. The white flowers are made from fish scales. Very beautiful work!

It was a great afternoon watching people show off their talents. We had a fun time! After the talent show we served sambol and bread sandwiches. Sambol is a sweet onion relish that they spread on the bread. Sort of like jam sandwiches. Everyone went home full and happy!
