What a Wonderful Day!

This morning we headed out to visit Chandrani. She lives on a hill that you have to climb up to. I wore pants because I have had some leeches when we visit. With the rain I didn't want to take any chances.
She is one of the kindest people I know.

She served us some wonderful treats!

With her birthday coming up I gave her this necklace. She will be 50 years old on February 26.

After visiting with Chandrani we stopped by to see Nirmala. She had this cool wind chime hanging off the side of her home. She is someone we will be able to see in Utah when we get home.

Next we visited with the Sansoni family.
We sang some songs and then played our Jeopardy Game using the scriptures. We had a lot of fun!
They also fed us some cake and bananas.

This is a Baya Weaver bird nest that Sansoni's found. The baya weaver is a weaverbird found across the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Flocks of these birds are found in grasslands, cultivated areas, scrub and secondary growth and they are best known for their hanging retort shaped nests woven from leaves. The way the nest is built is to protect their eggs from snakes. Inside there are individual rooms for the baby birds.  Very interesting!

Last thing for the day was English Class at Sunott's.
What a wonderful day!
