"Good Morning! I'm Mrs. Luke! Tell me a little bit about you!"
More assessments.
View of some of the Peradeniya University.
Outside the classroom where we are assessing. Students leave their shoes in the hall.
Also, backpacks.
How do you like this homemade ladder?
One step, two step, three step four!
How many steps before you soar?
When school is out and rush hour traffic we see mant traffic policemen. When I see the police officers I also think of the song, "Frosty the Snowman." Especially the part when, he led them through the streets of town, right to the traffic cop. They only paused a moment before he hollered STOP! Frosty wouldn't last very long today. It is very HOT!
Brother Shantha got a new three wheeler. It has more power and can go up hills so Ken doesn't have to get out and walk. Inside we get to view the beach instead of Pirates of the Caribbean.
We were invited to a performing arts contest. This is Usani. Her father is Sunott and we go to their home to teach English.
She did a beautiful Kandyan Dance. The make-up and dress makes her look very grown up. She is a very elegant dancer.
This is her friend Dulakshi. She also dances and comes to English class.
Saw this store called Frutah and thought of Utah! 😉
Life is good!
