Lamprais!

On our travels to Colombo we stopped for lunch. We tried our first Lamprais. It is sometimes known as lump rice. It is a very popular Dutch Burgher-influenced dish that is very popular in Sri Lanka. Lamprais means packet of food. Our packet contained rice, chicken, fish and other spices wrapped in a banana leaf. Very tasty!

On the table was this poster. As much as we eat ice-cream I had to take a photo.

While in Colombo we were able to attend the baptism of Aruba and Shammi. What an example of sacrifice because they have to travel 2 1/2 hours to attend church.

After the baptism we attended the YSA activity and we given a package from our kids in Malaysia.

Thanks for the yummy treats!

We also got a package from our friends in India.
Wow! We should come to Colombo more often to get packages!
We are so blessed!
