"What To Do" Wednesday!

We never lack for things to do.
One last time for ice cream at the, Fried Ice Cream Shop.
Ken got Very Berry Ice cream rolls.

I got Pineapple Ice cream.

Waiting for our ice cream to come.

Brother Shantha got cherry chocolate rolls.
He had to leave for awhile to pick up the Elders.
As you can see it was so hot his started to melt.
Eat fast Brother Shantha!

The Elders all ordered some kind of chocolate ice cream.
We will sure miss these Elders.
They are going to be great leaders!

Next we stopped by to see Amali and her mother Swarna.
Congratulations to Swarna for finishing the Book of Mormon yesterday!
What an accomplishment for her.

Like my new dress?
I'm here with Pavini to model it.
Nimeshi and Amali were so kind to have it made for me.
I really like the color!

Nalika and Nimeshi with daughter Chethu.

They made fresh avacodo juice and we had cake to go with it.
This is another family we are really going to miss!

Stopped by Saman's place to say good bye!
His mother, Anula, has a bad infection in her hands.
She has some medicine but her hands are so swollen.
Hope she gets well soon!

Next we headed to Sunott's home.
Some of the traffic and people along the way.

Once we arrived at Sunott's the children wanted us to go to their homes.

Some of Yasoda's drawings!
She does a great job!

What a wonderful Village filled with kind people.
We are so grateful that we were able to teach English and get to know so many people.

The girls had to show us their dance.

More good Sri Lankan food!

Playing, pass the hat, like musical chairs and other games!

The last photos before we leave!
Hard to say good bye to these sweet people!

One last bite from Sarojani!
Thank you for a wonderful evening!

One Last Tuesday!

After our Missionary meeting we took some of our things to the church to give away. That way I have more room to pack some of the things we have bought or have been given.
Brother and Sister Joseph had this trophy and medal made for us.
It says, Best Missionaries"
Thank you so much for the award.

Few of the people that stopped by the church to visit and get a few things.
We are going to miss these people!

Dinner at Sanjeewa's home.
Elder Luke getting ready for the salad.

This grandfather cooked all of the food.
It was very delicious!
Chicken curry, bean curry, potato curry, rice, Jack Fruit and for dessert, curd and bananas.
Yummy!

Had a wonderful time sharing the evening with them one last time!
