Day Of Rest!

"Cool as cucumbers!"
Today we reported to the High Council about our mission.
We could talk hours about all the experiences and miracles we had.
We sure know we have been blessed!
We made it back to church for our grandson to pass the sacrament.
Our grandchildren are sure growing up!
After church our granddaughters had the day all planned out.
First we got facial masks!

All of us are looking good!

The girls then gave me a pedicure.
Feet soaked and then rubbed with lotion.

Next apply the polish!
I got the royal treatment!
Lucky me!

For dinner Kenna made turkey and mashed potatoes.
I have been craving turkey for the past year and a half.
Oh did it taste good!

During dinner we played a game called, "Family Dinner, Box of Questions."
Fun questions to start dinner conversations .

The girls decided to have Family Home Evening tonight instead of tomorrow. They have been working on the lesson for the past two days. They assigned prayers, the scripture, a song, and read the Easter story. They also had us write a poem and we shared it with one another.
Then we had to find Easter eggs.
They are going to sure be great teachers and leaders when they grow up!
We had strawberry shortcake for dessert and then played the flour game.
This game is played by taking a cup of compressed flour, tipping the cup upside down until the flour comes out. The a coin is placed on top of the flour. Each player gets to cut away the flour without having the coin drop. If the coin drops you have to get it with your mouth.
Following are pictures of those who lost.

We enjoyed our Sabbath day!
So fun to be with our family!
