Ocean View!

Today after shopping and getting things ready for the new couple in Negombo, we decided we needed to eat. We headed over to the beach to find a good restaurant.

Before eating we took some pictures of the Indian Ocean.

We sure enjoy the ocean views and sounds of the waves.

This is where we ate. It is called "The Container." The building is made out of a storage container. The bathroom was also made out of a container.

The owners were from France. 

These two dogs were the gate keepers.

Once they let us in they could take their naps.

Since they were from France I had to get a crepe. This is called the Farmer Crepe. It has chicken, mushrooms and cheese. It really tasted good!

Ken had Barbeque chicken wings with French fries and salad.

The food was very delicious.

After eating I had four young people come to The apartment to take the Michigan English test. They also brought their parents and some siblings. While I gave the test Ken entertained by showing some of the church videos. As they were leaving the 3 year old was crying because he didn't want to leave. We told them they would have to come back again when the new couple arrives. Ken did a super job entertaining and making sure they had juice and cookies. If I were little I wouldn't want to leave either.
