Missionary Christmas Party!

We started our party off by eating at the Shangri la Restaurant!

So many choices of things to eat.

View of us all from another direction.

A GREAT bunch of missionaries!
We invited Sister Silva and Brother Deek to join us.
Sister Silva was released about a week ago and Elder Deek helped us until we got another Elder. Elder Deek is going to serve in Brazil and will leave as soon as he gets his visa.

The hotel was all decorated for Christmas.
                          Loved the elephants!

View of the Indian Ocean where we were sitting.

The Missionaries in the van say
"Merry Christmas!"

After lunch each of us shared a talent.
Elder Abeythunga was able to make a tooth pick disappear.
Then he and Elder Devinuwara sang, "Feliz Navi Da!"
Brother Deek showed us how he can wiggle his ears. (Just like President Monson).

Sister Silva sang us a song from "Momma Mia."

Elder Luke shared his ability to tell great stories.

Sister Chathurya shared her cooking talent.
Elder Karunarathne shared his video that he put together of pictures throughout the year.
He also shared a special thought about each of the missionaries.

Elder Bradshaw showing us how he can still do 40 push ups!
Sister Bradshaw shared her testimony of journal writing and Elder Jayasinghe preformed the haka.
So impressed with everyone's talents.
I decided to have people help me with planning "minute to win it game".

Defy gravity, by keeping 3 balloons up for a minute.

"Cookie Face"
We also played, "suck it up" and "stack it up".

Of course we have prizes for all who participated!

Ended the evening by having ice cream with this great family.
Sister Lydia, Brother Brian and daughter Anausi.
What a wonderful day!
