It has been a great day of meeting new people and learning about missionary work. A scripture that the Mission President shared with us really hit home to me. It comes from Doctrine and Covenants section 100 verse 1. "Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you, my friends Sydney (Crystal) and Joseph (Ken), your families are well; they are in mine hands, and I will do with them as seemeth me good; for in me there is all power."
We saw Sister Prescott who used to be in our ward before it was split. She is going to serve in Bentonville, Arkansas. It was so great to get a hug from her.
